From a great book by Harlan Coben, which was set in New Jersey I think, so having the twist of a french locale was a plus.

What a great movie! Took a few minutes to get use to the sub-titles and also for the plot to develop but it was one of the best Ive seen.

This film is an absolute must see for all. It is colorfully suspenseful, and has an interesting and detailed plot with lots of wonderful twists and surprises. I especially enjoyed the speed with which it unfolds, every scene is carefully timed and exposed and the characters are all intriguing and complex. Beautiful.

An excellent mystery thriller. But it makes me ask one question: I read about 2 mystery/thriller novels a week and I wonder why so few of them get made into movies. Those novels have the kind of brilliant plot twists, and character studies that Hollywood screenwriters seem incapable of creating from scratch. More of this, please!

An excellent movie, will keep you guessing up until the end. The subtitles seemed inconspicuous as the film continued. Another good European movie that succeeds to draw the audience into the story line, with believable character actors. Francois Cluzet, male lead, showed mature venerability, maybe a good movie for some North Americans men to see!

The premise of the plot was flawed from the beginning so the movie can go where it wants and become even more convoluted. The movie was way too long and they just had to put in a chase scene to make it longer. Also because it is subtitled it makes it hard to follow.

God I love European cinema when it's done well... not perfect but very enjoyable. It took me away!

Gripping, with an intricate plot, superb acting and cinematography, not a cliche in sight, a romantic thriller whodunit, a French take on an American genre. Don't miss it.

Best thriller I've seen this year. The acting was great. You think you figure out how it going to end but we so many twist and turn it manage to keep my attention from start to finish... I recommend people pay very close attention because if you're the type that take bathroom break or go to the concession stand you might miss the conclusion...
