Choke was an amazing movie! You should understand that the movie is not your typical hollywood movie. The storytelling was genius, it's a story based on Chuck Palahniuk's book (author of fight club) who writes alot of snuff. If you took it seriously, or expected some romantic comedy then yah, the movie was not for you. It has it's own certain demographic which I'm sure does not include people who don't appreciate contemporary literature and dark satire, and would rather watch the news, which is often times more scripted than the movies.
