Perfect. Amazing... great songs, good acting from Farhan n Parachi. Must watch really different from all the other bollywood flicks.

This is a very nice movie. The storyline was interesting. Some of the songs were mediocre, but bearable. The acting was pretty good by all. The theme of the movie was great and there is a lesson to be learnt there by the viewers.

Farhan Akhtar cannot only direct but he can also act. Great, realistic storyline with fantastic performances by the cast. Sets a standard that Bollywood should be striving for. One of the top films of the year.

Insult to intlligence & brains. Stupid film very sluggishly told. Film makers have to realize that fooling with the emotions of the audience does not work, but honesty in the process works. I am giving it 3 just because of the excellent performances by the lead actors, good music & the stage performances are very well filmed. The rest is just loads of crap, not funny at all & it is clearly evident that the film was not intended to be a story well told, but a launch pad for Farhan Akhtar. I don't think Farhan Akhtar needed to fool people like this, instead he could have used a good movie to launch himself. Kudos to Arjun Rampal. I Appeal to everybody to prevent the creative world from being materialised like this where just like any car, we are seeing a bunch of assembly line productions. Go see Amal, you would know what emotions are, go see Jaane bhi do yaaron, you will know what a good comedy is, or even Welcome or Sunday are way better than this. Lets promote good films instead of good looking films like this one.

Rock On!! Is about 4 extremely talented musicians; Aditya (Farhan Akhtar), Joe (Arjun Rampal), Rob (Luke Kenny) and K. D (Purab Kohli) and their relationships, dreams, failures, fate and life. Rock On!! Has a few similarities to Farhan Akhtar's Dil Chahta Hai. A part of the story is similar; a group of friends part ways due to a misunderstanding only to come together years later when their lives have changed. But what works for Rock On!! Is it's a simple story with a heart and it connects. Emotionally the movie is strong, there are scenes that make you cry. There are a few hilarious scenes, watch the scene wherein the band group perform dandiya. The music, so important to a movie like Rock On!! Is brilliant. The songs are beautifully placed, a great example of how songs add to the overall experience of a movie. Shankar - Ehsaan - Loy, you guys rock!! Farhan Akhtar proves to be an extremely talented actor. A great debut. And It should be Arjun Rampal's best performance ever... Rock On!! Is a movie that no one should miss!!
