It was a really good movie! I would really suggest this one. I thought it wouldn't be a very good movie, since it's in theatres so early. But, in the end, I thought the exact opposite!

I had no expectation but to kill time but the movie turned out to be a big surprise. I automatically assumed it was going to be another cheesy feel good movie, which it was, however it had depth and humour all the way through. It was nicely done and the use of "the Guga" was very smart.

Honestly all I have to say is that watching this movie was so disappointing at the fact that all kids after watching a movie go home and somehow imitate whatever they've seen. Having a kid drinking Red Bull it just not acceptable. I mean an 11,12 or 13 year old can easily go buy it and drink it. I am not sure how this was approved. This is my major concern, besides the fact that in real life no one would get a job the way Eddy got it. I wouldn't watch it again or recommend it to anyone.

I am 12 years old watched the movie with a friend it was not the best movie but it was all right some funny parts but others pretty dull jokes 7 year olds might laugh at. I would go see transformers haven't seen it but looks amazing.

Probably the best feel-good movie of 2009. Interaction between the main characters was delightful.

It was a great movie! Only they just don't skate in it on the TV. It was vary funny I just mean really OUTRAGEOUS!!! Everybody just see it NOW! I mean how good can it beat the movie Transformers HOW MUCH?! Who knows. Well, Transformers is out now who is better? Bay or Kirkpatrick with Shia Laboeuf and Eddie Murphie? Well find out with the 2 great movies! (I think they are vary good with comedy and action adventure.)

Well Eddie Murphy doesn't seem to change his tricks too much. In fact maybe not at all! Would love to see something more daring from the guy. Good motives but overall same ole thing.

Wasn't all that great, very predictable plot, funny for kids I guess, but I was unenthusiastic about it. Seemed like most of the humour was simply Eddy Murphy acting silly and getting strange looks. Very family friendly I guess, but not the best, the only part my daughter seemed to enjoy was the singing. I'd say if you really have nothing to do, it would entertain the kids, but overall I'd wait to rent it.

Nice movie, good rental. My 12 year old son didn't like it at all, which is very unusual, he likes everything. It was a nice clean movie, not many crude jokes, no foul language, just a nice movie to watch... something a little different for a change of pace.

When people talk about Hollywood endings, this is what they mean. The movie pits an unlikable character between two choices, his daughter or his career (he's a high power stockbroker who wants to get higher) Plot is ridiculous and Murphy's charm barely makes the character forgivable. At the end, he is compelled to make the critical choice between family and business, which I suppose people can understand. The copout is that by choosing the one he actually gets the other. Now a film like this can do one of two things, it can teach you how to be a better person or it can congratulate you for remaining a louse. This film does the latter. I guess it would be too much to suggest that a person who thinks about nothing other than the holy $$$ is a douche.

I like the story, the little Yara Shahidi is great& so as Eddy, but I did not like the way therole of White feather, the director is putting down the methode of the Native people uses, it's form of descrimination, also giving is son Red Bull to drink it's not right as if all native treat they children that way, that is false, it's the white man that fabricate the Red Bull not the native, also went the big boss as to choose betwen Eddy or white feather for the job replacement, he accuse white feather of using & blaming his son, but doesn't past the remark that Eddy is also using the daughter for is succes so both are unfitted parents & the boss is wrong in is judment. I'm very open with comedy but if you read between the ligne this is the image that I'm getting & I diapproved. We can laught at each other but theire is somme limite.
