I think the story was a little on the cheesy side. But all together the movie was great! My two favorite parts with ben Stiller were: the part wen he sang "Eye of the tiger" on the loudspeaker. And the all the parts will dexter (the monkey) Also I love all the scenes with Owen Wilson & Steve Coogan. They are so funny together! 8 out of 10.

You guys are out of your minds. Yeah, it's a decent movie for kids but that doesn't excuse the movie for having zero depth. It's like a tech demo for CGI effects only. I hate Ben Stiller like poison to begin with but he doesn't even act in this movie! All he does is run and trip over things. I do think this is a better movie for kids than say Jurassic Park or Jumanji (both of which I think are far too scary) One of the most bizarre things about the production of this movie is when you go and spend all that money on CGI, you're doing it to make the movie more engaging. This movie isn't engaging at ALL. I was continuously aware that I was just watching a movie and that's not why I go to the movies. The t-rex skeleton was pretty cool tho. Basically, in a nutshell, the movie sounds like alot more fun that it actually is. Terrible comedy through and through. Not recommended for adults and barely recommended for kids (there are FAR better movies out there for kids)

This movie is a delight: the CGI effects are amazing and Ben Stiller and Mickey Rooney are hilarious! Good, clean fun for the entire family.

I actually liked this one it was funny at parts and I didn't even watch it from the start and it was still Good. Go see it if u want a laugh not too funny but alright.

Seriously, this movie had absolutely no substance. I'd label it as a great time for anyone under twelve who hasn't developed a super-ego and absorbs everything they come into contact with at face value. However, if you're one of the few intelligent [...] that do exist then I say salut to you and avoid this plotless piece of junk.

This is a nice little funny movie. I would not say it was the best of the year... Heck I would not even say it is memorable but it is a good watch if you are in a bind and want to watch something.

Started out not too bad but by mid way it was very childish and well... Stupid. Great for young kids but not for adults. Love the actors and the acting but the story is just to silly to enjoy.

I can't believe this movie gets such high ratings. It may have its funny moments, but overall it is a dreary piece. The father-son story is particularly annoying. Not even Robin Williams shines. (Nice to see Mickey Rooney again though.)

Exactly like the vote says, To see right now! I recommend it to everyone. If you like action movies, romance movies (this one has a cute one) or for anyone that just enjoys movies, you should definitely see this one!

We are VERY picky about what goes before into our eyes & minds, adult and kids alike... This is RARE clean family-friendly humour... Other than a couple of minor language issues. It is wonderfully done and one of the few we decided to add to our family library, and have recommended it to many others who shield their families from entertainment-trash as we do. Thank you... More would be fantastic and VERY welcome, Mrs. Hunt.

I watched this with my kids and although there were a few scary scenes for them we all loved the movie. Of course the Dumb-Dumb you have Gum-Gum line has stuck and we still laugh at it.

I love this movie... It was so funny and is a great movie for people of all ages a great family film that will make you want to watch movies with you family once again. Its clean no sexual content (which is very refreshing to see) and not very much bad language. You ALL must see this movie!!!

A lot of fun. Plot was predictable, but the actors (Affleck, Williams) were a quite good and played it correctly. Not a masterpiece, but good wholesome fun and a great concept. Great rental for the family.

I liked it. I went with my friends and we ALL liked it. There were some scary parts (not recommending ghost or stuff like that) that made you believe that the actors/actresses are gonna do it. And the rest was plain weird and funny.
