[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Generally, an entertaining movie, until one discovers the misandric undertones. Then it becomes a tired film, full of cliches. Every male character is flawed. Every female character is strong and principled. The male character is unfaithful because (we assume) he is of weak moral character. When the mother character admits to having an affair, somehow it's her husband's fault. Incidentally, nothing was made clear on this score - all we saw was the character screaming at her husband, howling that she "wanted flesh and blood." Sounds like the silly stuff drilled into our heads in the 90s. Boring. Pass. 4/10 8.1.2007 -
