The story was not so good but and Hilary Swank could play much better. But I like AnnaSophia Robb, she played very good here and since "Bridge to Terabithia" I am a realy big fan from her.

I think i've had a secret crush on Hilary Swank for years now. She one of the most talented actresses out there and seems like the type of human being you'd like to spend time with and get to know. That being said, the reaping was a surprise for me. I didn't expect much in terms of the script but it was pleasantly good. Of course this is sci-fi/horror. But there was something cool to it. The suspense fo the story kept you in as you didn't really know what was going on until the end. The characters are well drawn out and the story keeps you guessing. All in all, I'm surprised it didn't do much better at the box office.

I would like this one so much more if it wasn't so predictable. It is by no means an original script, considering Biblical plagues and demonic children have been an ongoing theme for years. I would have been more impressed if there was more to the characters. The audience never really gets a chance to care about anyone or what happens so we end up watching the movie and leaving without much of an opinion.
