Scénario extrêmement original qui nous tient en haleine tout le long du film. Les acteurs sont solides, surtout Fishburne. Malheureusement, Reeves n'est pas très convaincant. Son jeu n'évolue pas au même rythme que son personnage et ça devient agaçant. La Matrice demeure à voir pour son originalité.

Awesome Keanue Reeves has an ability as an actor to make or break a movie well he made this movie fantastically so. Wow Carre-Anne Moss was sexy, Keanu Reeves was excellent as Thomas A. Anderson/Neo/The One, and Laurence Fishburn was awesome as Neo's best friend and mentor. An awesome sci-fi and action movie that to me redefined both the action and science-fiction genres not only that but it also redefined movies it has probably influenced many sci-fi and action movies ever since it's release.

I loved this movie! The development of Keanu Reeves' character is fantastic in this great ensemble cast of believable performances in a futuristic world. A must see for Sci-Fi fans!

The best Sci-Fi action ever created. Mesmerising effects, edge of your seat action, incredibly entertaining, and a DEEP story that will take your mind to our time as well as the future. Complex plot will make you want to see the movie over and over again! Just. Simply. Amazing.

My favorite movie of all times. The more you watch this movie, the more you understand their way of thinking and the more you want to see it. The action is incredible, mind blowing, hair raising I dont know how to express myself. It's a very good movie even those who dont usually watch sci-fi movies will like this one. It is much better than its 2 sequels. I own the Vhs, the dvd and am going to buy the ultimate blu ray collection. I literally knew most of the lines by heart. Watch It.

Very good action scenes. The idea of a virtual world was very interesting. The kung fu and the bullet time fighting was amazing.

Excellent story, meshing old philosophical themes and cinematic genres in ways I've never seen. The fight scenes were amazing, the acting solid, the editing, camera use, special effects, soundtrack, all great. The only flaw is that the dialogue needed some tweaking, but a solid film.

Theme deep philosophic and sophisticated, provoke lot of reflections about the values in the life; remarkable presence of great actors well known and new; with impressing technical effects, the soundtrack is nice; realistic battle scenes; good language. Longtime I have not see movie like that..

Great non stop action! But what really fascinated me was the idea behind the story. Meaning there is more to life than what we are lead to believe. It's a sci-fi classic and I've seen it at least 50 times.

One of the best movies I have seen, and better than the two follow ones. It introduces in a modern way the notion that the world is an illusion - parallels with buddhism, and other spiritual traditions. Highly recommend this film.

You will need to watch many times to get all the subtilites."There is no spoon" while he is on the top of the elevator ready to detatch, is a great example. Smith's explanation of why humans are a virus is very thought provoking.

This film was made to tell us all that from a small age we are all lured into a sense of false security and one day when the world is ready to handle it we will all be shown that the matrix is the real and not the bubble we call the world now. The film was great and is a good way to prepare the world for real life.

It is hands down the best sci-fi movie I've ever watched. The story and action are top notch, the special effects are ground breaking. Many others have tried to copy it with fight scenes, bullet time, everything else, but couldn't pull it off like the matrix.

The matrix is a great piece of science fiction. As with many great movies everything is not what it seems and the hero must challenge himself to find his true potential. Great plot, great characters, and phenomenal effects.

My favorite part in the movie was when Neo would fly. Other parts in the movie were awesome to, like when the agents started to pile up on Neo. If you like the movie you try playing the game. It's awesome.

This science fiction look at the future has the old elements of good versus evil personified in today's terms of computers and machines against man. The quality of the action and graphics is what makes it a cult favourite and worthy of a sequel now released. See them all and be entertained. I will not miss a one.

Matrix was a great movie. Some people say it used other movies plots, but it in fact used all of them so well there is no point to see the other movies at all. This is a movie that provokes thought and questions, as well as gives us some great scenes and quotes.
