The first half of the movie is sooo boring I fell asleep. I tried to watch it a second time, and fell asleep again.

If you love sarcasme and you love romantic comedies, then don't miss this movie. Diane Lane and John Cusack are wonderful as two heart-broken divorcees trying to find love.

Witty & charming, very relatable in the dating world today. Great acting & story line. I own it and have watched it 5 times... so far.

The dog playing dead was good acting but he probably prepared for his scene by reading the script! Has Christopher Plummer's needle stuck on his reoccurring role on the Cosby show? I was SO surprised when he started reciting poetry! Not believable. Couldn't pull for any of the characters. Didn't care if any of them got together. And the scene near the end where she jumps in the water and swims to him? How original! I wanted to see it because of John Cussack. Sorry I saw it for too many reasons to mention. Gives, TIME IN A BOTTLE a pretty close run for slowest, most ho hum movie yet. Reminded me of when I was a kid and used to watch the Red Skelton show. It was the same every night. Always waiting for something that would make me feel good that I stayed up. Never happened..

There was such potential for this to be a good movie, but unfortunately it is not. The writing is bad and the movie is slow. The dog steals the show. It would be a disappointing rental at best.

Yeah - ok - at least you don't have to do anything hard - like think - I felt the acting wasn't believable.

I loved this movie. It was very true to life and made me glad I'm married! Witty, and entertaining. A lot of word play so don't see it if you're looking for something more exciting. I enjoyed it immensely.
