A neat movie, sometimes a little bit too far fetched.

One of the better "Chick flicks" out there - a neat movie.

First time EVER that I'm writing my comments about a movie that I rented due to a friend's suggestion, or about any movie for that matter. First of all, I can't fathom how viewers can give this film a rating below 6. Below the surface of this film, underneath all that breath-taking scenery and perhaps cliche-ish dialogue, there's an important message of self-discovery and self-transformation and the importance of having faith in one's search for fulfilment. I'm a guy and I am not ashamed to say that I actually cried a few times during the movie. It's so sad that there are so many people out there who have no romantic streak in them. Don't believe what other viewers, including me, say about this film. If you are a true believer in romance and believe that love will come your way (once again), rent this movie. It's a genuine feel-good movie.

Diane Lane is superbe as always and the location of the filming is so beautiful you can travel with the movie. The story tho is so so... I don't regret renting it!

Loved this movie! Bought it on DVD! An excellent chick flick, if you're in the mood for one, about a woman finding herself in life. Very nice movie to look at, lots of scenery from Italy. Overall, a very relaxing watch.

Inspiring, touching and funny! Highly recommended. Agree that's it's a chic flick unless you are one of those rare men with a sensitive streak!

Nice flick, goes from one woman's stable sucessful life then hovers around hopeless to finally leaving you feeling good about it all and 'thanks for the ride'. But I still question if Italian's are really that nice?

Hey,... if you order chicken and expect it to taste like beef... don't blame the chicken or the chef. To those who say this movie is boring,... you simply didn't order the item that you felt like eating. What did you expect? A "Rambo style" or "Terminator style" movie in a romantic comedy like "Under the Tuscan Sun"? :-) This movie is VERY cute and very well done. It is light in it's story line but the scenery is wonderful and the characters are very realistic. Portrays the "simplicity" of some true life events and people in a touching way. Worth renting for sure.

Nauseous travesty of a wonderful book, with which it has only the title in common.

Thought this movie was FANTASTIC!! I watched my mother go through a rough divorce, and this movie was very "true-to-life". Anyone who craps on this movie has NO HEART or romance in them at all - and God help them if they ever got through a divorce!! Diane Lane was MAGNIFICENT in this movie!!

Beautiful scenery. I really enjoyed it. This is one of the films that fulfill your soul. Besides it has various messages on how to get what you want in life.

Really nice movie that spares you from the current raft of confict(war) movies out there right now. Enjoyable and Italy is awesome.

For those of us who do love love and romance this is a beautiful film full of the tension, suspence and anxiety that accompanies every love affair and matches that of the best action flicks for involving the audience and holding its attention. For those that didn't like it all I can say is that it's sad to see people who just don't seem to have any romance in them and who have either never loved or never been hurt, and I hope they never are.

Boring, boring, boring! Holywood clichés all through! At least there are nice shots of Tuscany, but this is not enough to redeem this sleeper... A waste of your money!
