I got a free pass to see this movie and let's just say I tried to give it to one of my friends (no takers) So I went to see it on a rainy day. I was the only one there (hint) but saw it anyway. As I came out I was trying to think of the worst comedies I have seen in my life, I don't think it's the worst but it's in the top ten. View at your own risk!

No wonder they called this movie "the disaster movie" , because this movie IS a disaster. It's not funny, its crap, it sucks. When I walked into the theatre to watch that, there were only 3 people in there. It's a waste of money, don't watch it. Well, unless you want to see how crappy the movie is, then watch it LOL.

Sometimes one goes to a movie like this with hopes of some laughs even if the premise of the movie seems stupid. Sadly, this movie continues on with the trend to assume the movie-going public are just happy to throw their money away on any movie as long as it isn't something like Sex and the City (LOL) I was one of those people who thought this could be somewhat funny but it's going to be the last "spoof-type" film I'll ever go to and maybe it's time they quit making this garbage...

Why didn't I read the reviews before I went out and saw it? If movies reflect society, than we are in really really deep trouble. I recognized the 'musical comedy' genre soon after the movie started. It's not a terribly popular concept today but I can still live with that, but the values that are promoted and displayed here are almost evil. As for being funny, well, forget that.

Just another example which shows that even if u spend your wardrobe allowance in a dollar store, get some junky with an IQ of 80 who has seen other movies movies to write u a script, give him a bong and STILL manage to make money... I actually applaud to the producers, they show that you can sell anything. I mean sure we hated it, but it's a "ka-ching" sound to them since we already paid.

Even though the Rotten Tomatoes website gave this film a 0 out of 100 rating, I decided to give it a chance since I liked the Scary/Date/Epic movies. In 45 years of going to the theatre, this is the worst comedy that I have ever seen. I did not even smile or chuckle once, yet alone laugh. The legendary director Stanley Kubrick said that no matter how bad a movie is, there is at least one good moment in it. If he had lived long enough to see this 'disaster', he would have retracted his statement.

My not-so-adoring public, my non-existant fans, I bring you yet another torrent of hatred and bile for yet another Movie: Disaster Movie. I could make a joke about its title, how appropriate it is, but that would be obvious and unsophisticated. So I will. Disaster Movie is exactly that, a disaster. One could posit that it is a good film, but these people are generally either unaccostumed to decent film, or, to be frank, the victim of several brain-cell killing concussions. You know how whenever you drink, you're supposed to become duller and your brain-cells begin evacuating the flood of chemicals? This film is like Hurricane Katrina for the little guys. You can feel your brain beginning to atrophy and melt while watching this. That is not a pleasant sensation, unless it's already slid down the drain with a sickening slurp from repeated viewings of Meet The Spartans and Epic Movie that many of the people giving this heap above 5/10 must have endured. When I see movies like this, you know what it makes me think of? Darfur. The DRC. Ethiopia. Places that actually could use the money the [...] stains who created this make off of these films. You may be saying, Oh SovietRazor, if you hate the film creators so much, why did you pay 10$ to see their abortion of cinema? Well, actually I didn't. I had an unused coupon so I got in for 3. Even so, that was far, far too much money, [...] Emerging from the dark torture chamber that was the viewing of Disaster Movie, I felt! I! Should have been paid for seeing it. And that's all I have to say, about that.

I can't believe people actually liked this movie! It's literally the worst movie ever (on imdb) I'm not sure why a terrible fake Amy Winehouse would be in a movie about natural disasters? Or any of the other stupid pop culture spoofs that were mentioned for that matter. DO NOT see this movie. It's been done, (better), about a thousand times already!

I had the lowest standard possible having tickets to a preview screening. And guess what, it's the best movie I've ever seen. And I see a lot of movies. I don't know about any awards. But for the standard of a dumb parody, it beats the high of any of the Monthy Pythons. It's grouse and not hilarious humor. But it keeps everything on a line of continuous raid on humor. It's not on-and-off with goodness, it sustains itself thoroughly. It doesn't have much of a story. But it's sentimentally great! It's flawless and Spectacular. Just give it one Oscar nomination and make it win Best Picture.

I go to a lot of movies. This is absolutely, hands down the very WORST movie I have ever seen. I found myself wanting to leave many times, but part of me kept wanting to stay to see if this movie even had 1 redeeming quality to have spent even some money to make it. A high school film making class could have done better work. It's sad to think that this movie may come out on DVD and when it does it will be a total waste of plastic. Do your friends (& enemies) a favor... tell them not to even waste their time considering this movie.

This movie should be simply titled "A Disaster". It is the worst movie I have ever seen. I made the mistake of not checking the reviews (none were available, as this was a "Premiere"), and I will never make that error again. I went because I love comedies, and spoofs in particular. Although I easily recognized each of the movies this turkey was targetting, the comedy component was COMPLETELY ABSENT unless, of course, you call multiple scenes involving feces comedy, which I do not! There was not one peep from the audience, certainly nothing remotely resembling laughter, only sheepish embarrassment as we all shuffled out of this disaster. Its only saving grace is that it is only about an hour and forty minutes of torture, unless you leave before the end, which most of us did. The characters are certainly easy to look at, but I should have known the level of wittiness to expect with a "comedy" "starring" Carmen Electra! I don't usually bother writing reviews, but I regard this one as my civic duty to document: PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF FROM THIS EMBARRASSMENT!!!
