It's very difficult to improve on something as good as The Mummy but this film pulls it off nicely just like X-men 2 did when you can improve on something that good that's a real sign of talent. Great characters, comedy, action, and plot an another good thing The Rock's big screen debut is a very memorable one as The Scorpion King fantastic movie check it out.

This movie is 9 years old now and I saw the movie when I was 5 years old. I was freaked out when I saw it cause of all the mummies killing people but now I'm six years older and I realized this is a GREAT movie.

Stephen Sommers never even fixed any mistakes, he just made it worse. He way overuses affects, every action scene has majoy CGI. And so, wheres the originality? Oh, Stephen Sommers doesn't have any. But really, just go this one for the entertainment. It's better than the first for it's enjoyment. But it's story is full of subplots and way too clunky. But the movie altogether is an averagely better-than-the-original type sequel which may need a better style. But it works.

Loved this movie! I think I've seen it about a million times. The Mummy and The Mummy Returns are a perfect mix of comedy, action and romance. Go out and buy them so that you can watch them over and over again like me!!

This movie is very bad. The first one was way better then this piece of crap. It is not entertaining and has bad action too. Bad acting, bad story and just plain boring and stupid. I was laughing at all the effects this movie had, terrible. I would not recommend this piece of trash.

Yet another example of why sequels should not be made! I liked the first Mummy, but this one was so similar that I just didn't see the point. Highly improbable that the heroine and the female villan were enemies in a past life, and the hero was her protector in a past life ans the mummy was the female villan's boyfriend in a past life. I mean-come on!!! And what kind of parents are those two jerks anyway-their kid is almost killed because they completely ignore him whenever they get horny (which is all the time) The pygmy ape-mummies were sort of cute.

I absolutely loved the mummy and the mummy returns I hope you make another one, here's an idea Evee is 8.75 months pregnant with a little girl. The problem of the story is that Anaksunamoon comes back and wants revenge on Rick so she kidnaps Evee and plans to kill her, somehow there is more stuff in it, but Rick gets there in time but by the time he gets her to saftey she goes into labor and he is going to deliver the baby and does safly. And there little boy is a teen and off at some boarding school volentarily. If you want to make alot more money go with my idea, and stick with the same characters. Sincerely, a devoted fan Randi Cutburth.

I was under the impression not to expect very much from this film. But I found it highly entertaining. No academy performances but the special effects and the overall story was enjoyable.

Managing to keep the same cast and special effects helped this one out. Story is good not fantastic and the kid steals the show. The ending was a bit too Hollywood for me. But Harrison Ford is getting a bit long in the tooth so for us Indie Jones fans this will do just fine.

I loved it, I saw it about 4 times. I love the guy that helps them. The latin one. With the markings on his face. He is HOT. The movie was fantastic. And I loved how it didn't dwell on demonism. Cause if it did I would have just walked out of the movie.

The mummy should have stayed dead! The only thing good about this film were the action sequences and The Scorpion King. This is one of those films that makes all foreigners look either dumb or evil. Watching this kind of cliche is about as much fun as getting my teeth drilled.

If you liked the first movie you'll like this one. This movie has way more action in it than the first one, but I kind of liked the first one better because the stars did better acting and it had a lot more interesting plot to it. If you like action see this movie. But I still think the first one was better.

The movie was alright until the one thing that really bugged me. That was the horrible CGI of the scorpion creature. For a movie where the rest of the CGI work was really good, that sequence knocked it down two points for me. As for the movie, it was a decent popcorn movie. It looks good. It moves well. Just remember to leave the brain at the front door because there are some scenes that make you go "Huh? ".

This is the best movie to see, I was desapointed cause the rock was only playing for 5 min, anyways I think this a good movie I recommend it for anybody who likes action. If there would be a 11/10 I would put it.
