Loved the music and the scenery. It was a good outing & in our group, the guy who went with 4 girls enjoyed it too. Pierce B. Looks unnatural when he sings, but he did hit all the notes, not that unbearable to hear.

I went to see the movie because I'm an ABBA fan and because the few people I knew that had seen it thought it was great and they would see it again. I found the music & singing was pretty good, but I also found myself kinda bored at times. Really liked the scenery.

Loved the movie, and real feel good movie to see. I would recommend it one & all. I've seen it once and want to go back to the sing-along version.

I would say that aside from Meryl Streep, the acting was pretty bad and James Bond singing on screen... just doesn't work. It was fun if you like ABBA and I love ABBA, but it could have been much better. A little too Theatrical for the big screen. And if you've seen the actual broadway musical, this is quite disappointing.

Overall not bad, but not as good as I expected. The songs are fun to listen to but the story is weak at a few points. Good for entertainment if you like Abba and are in the mood for a light film.

Hilarious. And ridiculous. Ok it is a chick flick. And Pierce Brosnan should not act in a musical.

Just an all around good feeling movie. Makes you want to get out of your seat and sing and dance with the actors.

If you're into musicals you might enjoy it. I'm not & didn't. I struggled through the 1st 30 minutes & walked out. Guys- If you don't like musicals and the wife/girlfriend tries to talk you into this one find something else to do. Ladies- Don't torture your husbands with this. Take a girlfriend instead & you'll have fun.

I saw it, afraid that I'd be disappointed as I have seen the actual musical. I wasn't disappointed at all. I strongly recommend this one!

Mamma Mia was so much fun - I haven't laughed so much for a long time. It was so fantastic that I'm meeting some of my girlfriends together and going to see it again. LOVED IT!!!

I was a little hesitant at first to see the movie because I had seen it on a live stage in New York. But I was not disappointed. In fact I enjoyed the movie as much as the live show. The singing and dancing was spectacular. I really enjoyed Merryl Streep I never knew she was so versatile. I found when I got home I was singing a lot of the songs. The scenery was just so unbelievably beautiful that I would love to go to Greece.

Well, I'd already seen the show before seeing the movie, so I had high expectations. And, while it couldn't match the excellence of the show, it came pretty close and was still an extremely great movie (hence the 10 out of 10) Happy movie with great emotions. True that Pierce can't sing, but look past that and at what a great Sam Carmichael he makes. Meryl Streep's performance was legendary! Go see this movie, and then see the stage show too. They are both amazing!

I saw this movie with my 16 year old son. He was being kind! However, all through the movie he laughed just as much as I did. We enjoyed it. It was good fun. The music was more than I remember from Abba. I did get a chuckle out of Pierce Brosnan singing, but it just added to the fun. I now want to see it again with my friends from work.

It was great! To put ABBA'S songs into a fast paced movie was excellent! The beautiful scenery, and what was ment to be normal looking people put this whole package togeather. I didn't think that I would like it, but I loved it.

Great movie!!! I've lost count of how many times I have seen it and I hope to see it again. It's a great movie to see with your mom. I LOVED the songs. I can't get them out of my head.

Yup, I hate musicals. It's like someone said: "I have an idea for a movie, but can only think up enough material to make 10 mins of screen time. I know! We can make the actors SING it all! Voila! 2 hour movie!"

When I see a musical, I expect the singing to be good from all the performers. Pierce Brosnan couldn't sell a song to save his life! I was cringing and people in the audience were laughing anytime he opened his mouth to sing. Other singers were generally fine, but you have to sit through Pierce for about 15 minutes in this movie.

Hard to suspend disbelief that Meryl is young enough to HAVE a daughter this age (if she was supposed to have been young and spirited herself when she had the kid.) Other than that though this is a great movie full of hysterically funny moments and fantastic dare-you-not-to-sing-along music. Don't miss it!!

A fun and light hearted movie. I suggest it as a Saturday matine, and you must like Abba or at least that style of music. So... If you love Abba, see it at the cinema. If not, wait for the DVD.
