Bad story... Why the hell would animals come from around the world to travel from north Virginia to Washington on a boat?

I took my 9 year old son to the movie and I was so impressed by the fact that it was a family friendly movie. I came away with a good feeling, and the faith message of the movie was amazing.

I was slightly disappointed in this sequel. It was ok, it had some great humorous moments, but overall I thought it could have been much better.

A good clean family fun movie. Not exactly Biblically accurate, but does teach great lessons about the importance of family, standing against the crowd when you know something is the right thing to do ("better to be a fool in the eyes of man, than a fool in the eyes of GOD"), friendship and more. Don't miss seeing the movie or renting the DVD. Enjoy the show!

We just came home from seeing this movie and it was really enjoyable. I found my self cheering for Evan and was close to tears at one point when Evan's wife--well, I don't want to spoil the story. Morgan Freeman is, as usual, a wonderful actor and played a believable God. This is a great movie for kids of all ages. The best message is for families and being together through good times and challenging times.

A good family movie. I loved Morgan Freeman as God. The idea was great but some things didn't really make sense (I don't want to explain further as it will reveal content from the movie) Lots of good laughs and messages about the importance of family.

Bruce Almighty was way better. For one thing the story doesn't make sense. I thought God promised not to flood the earth again.

This movie was not only funny but had Biblical truth to it. The kids loved it but more than that, it was a great family movie that we didn't have to worry about bad language.

We really enjoyed this movie, my ten year old and I. Steve Carrell is always a hoot and Morgan Freeman is as good as usual. The scenes with the animals were especially funny. Special effects were great, but these days they usually are. It's always nice to see the bad guy get what's coming to him. John Goodman is a great villain.

The kids liked it but as for me I found it so-so... Not haha funny... Actually not funny at all. It's more of a kids comedy... I recommend you go for something else if your not a kid.

OMG!!! This movie was the ultimate WORST movie of the year award... Its like dread the moment... :( I recommend everyone that hasn't seen it not to go and see it unless you are high on God! And if you are high on God you still might not like it cause it makes fun of the arch as well. So overall it's a bad movie.

For those of you who say 'I don't get it, why would he send the ark down 3 blocks.' It's just a wake up call. God said he would never flood the Earth again, so you can't be expecting that. But if you didn't get the message then maybe do some research before you put a 1 as your rating.

Wasn't funny and had one crude joke which was really uncalled for. I think due to the G rating they couldn't have as much as more funny humour.

This movie is SO bad I don't even know where to begin... Has to be the worst film I've seen in the past couple of years. Twenty minutes in I wanted to walk away but couldn't... It was like watching a train wreck in slow motion. Following in the footsteps of the film that the ark was filled with 2 of everything they should have made a second film and this time buy the ark from Ikea and base the plot on the amusing sight gags and facial expressions of Steve Carrell trying to follow the directions... Now that's funny... NOT!!!

Nothing of biblical proportions here, just some less than standard movie going fare that might make you smile but certainly won't give you belly laughs. Leave this one for the kiddies who might enjoy it just for some of the silly animal antics the film has. For the over 15 crowd, go see something else.

This movie is poorly written. God must be senile. Or else why would he make Evan build an ark and gather all these animals. For a flood that wouldn't affect most of these animals. The flood only affected one city and it only reached City hall. Bruce Almighty is ways better than this lousy flick. At least the story there is more believable.

I loved this movie so much. It's way better than Bruce Almighty. When I went to see it I didn't think it would be that funny. But I must admit I was laughing so hard that I had to go pee half way through the movie.

Big on special effects (this movie cost HOW MUCH?!) but short on laughs, Evan Almighty underutilizes a star-studded cast that includes Steve Carell, Morgan Freeman and the smokin' hot Lauren Graham. I dislike family films to begin with but this one really hams it up. Plus, this is the most expensive Hollywood comedy ever made. Too bad it's almost never actually funny. Definitely not recommended.

Felt very "thrown together" and quickly ran through. The story in Bruce almighty was equally as goofy, yet at least held some ground. The hype of the flood was great and had my attention... Although he spends how long building an ark and lobbying animals just to survive a flood that stretched 3 blocks. Not only that you see waves crashing and climbing to hundreds of feet but half the people in the streets don't even seem to get effected by it. Half those animals couldn't have possibly even lived within that quadrant, and seemingly only gained to be moved a few blocks down into what seems to be a downtown area. This movie is ridiculous.

A wonderfully entertaining movie. The graphics and animal photography were outstanding. It makes the whole 'Noah's flood' story plausible. I think also that God would be pleased with His portrayal.
