Joe Bill "Rack" Racklin, a rouge Oklahoma deputy sherif, has just watched yet another girlfriend pack up and drive out of his life. As fate would have it, his old flame, Annie, returns home from big city. Rack and Annie's reunion is abruptly interrupted when she is kidnapped and held for ransonby the drug lord brother of recently arrested inmate, Tito. Tito must be brought to Juarez, Mexico in exchange for Annie's life. Despire the Sherif's demand that Rack not get involved, Rack takes the law into his own hands, breaking Tito out of jail and taking a raucous road trip across state lines to rescue the love of his life. It's a race against time Rack saves the day by rescuing his love, exposing the unlawful exploits of her step-father and returning Tito to the Feds just in the nick of time to save face for his boss.
