This has to be one of the best comedy movies ever. Over the top and very entertaining on so many levels. Great performances all around with nonstop action. A ton of work was put into this movie and it really shows. Recommended.

Definitely deserves the Oscar for best comedy. Flat out hilarious! Didn't expect to see Tom Cruise in this one. Real rating 9.5/10.

I actually loved this movie! I love how Jack Blacks character is a druggy. Its hilarious. And at the beginning when it shows the movies they have been in, it felt real. It was funny. And the tivo. :P Just a GREAT movie!

This movie is wildly funny in many ways, and I highly recommend it. The dialogue is funny, the acting is good, the direction is tight, and more importantly, the director respects the intelligence of the viewer. It is also semi-parodical of movie stars, producers, agents, etc. and their tantrums! Robert Downey Jr. as an Australian method actor who undergoes a pigment-implantation surgery to enter the skin of the character he is playing, is hilarious! So is Ben Stiller and Jack Black and Tom Cruise, in his cameo role! Must see, laugh-a-riot!

Although it had its dumb moments, overall I enjoyed myself at this movie. The humor was entertaining for the most part and Tom Cruise was probably the best actor in it.

Hilarious! I wish I had brushed up on some of the Vietnam movies as it spoofs a lot of them here. And I hope this doesn’t make Ben Stiller start to think he really is a director.

Lol best movie ever. So funny especially Jack Black best actor ever "I'm gonna bite that oxes ass" best line ever other than when the bird stole his crack.

Okay but not as funny as I thought it would be. Certainly not as funny as Zoolander or Dodgeball. An out of character Tom Cruise was probably the best part. Go see it with low expectations and you won't be disappointed.

I honestly haven't laughed in such a long time so hard for a movie. I dunno why so many people are giving this movie a poor review but it's definitely not a family movie. You have to be going with a date or a few friends to enjoy this.

This movie was fantastic, I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard, especially about Kirk Lazarus (Robert Downey Jr.) "playing a dude pretending to be another dude!" Met and exceeded all expectation with the all star cast. I didn't even realize it was Tom Cruise until the movie was over!

The opening scene was indeed gruesome, until I realized they were spoofing Apocalypse Now, Platoon, and other similar war movies. That's when I relaxed and told my friends "They're just copying other movies!" We laughed thru the entire movie, nonstop. Genius Comedy: irreverent, subversive, gross, hilarious. Well you get the picture. Kinda like Monty Python Flying Circus. Same humour.

You know what? I laughed and cringed at some parts and I just had to smile at the stupidity, but it really wasn't a great movie. An excellent rental to enjoy with a few "beverages". If you see it in the theatre, it's not a waste of time but you need to be in the right mood :D

This movie is hilarious. I haven't left the theatre in a long time this happy. I will definently watch it again and again throughout my life. I never really thought Jack Black was that funny until I saw this film. The three play together perfectly and my stomach hurts from laughing so hard. Rent it, go out and see it just watch this film!!!

The best movie I have ever seen! So friggen funny I couldn't even breathe for laughing!! I just fell in love with the ENTIRE cast! And Tom Cruise - My lord. Jack Black was drop dead friggen hilarious! I laugh everytime I think of him being tied to a tree so as not to raid the camp of cocain. Seriously - I'm seeing it again! Its great! Beware, though, of an opening scene that almost had me walking out - the movie picks back up! That first thing is DISGUSTING! But the rest is gold.

Best movie I've seen since The Muppets Take Manhattan. If you enjoy peeling figs, than this is the movie for you. Some nice Coconut Joe sweatshirts make a cameo in this movie. 10 out of 10. I'd give it more but the calculator built-into my digital watch only has 2-Digits! Well Done!
