The remains of two 3000-year-old mummies, Imhotep and Anck-su-Numam, arrive to a London museum, 10 years after Rick O'Connell's (Brendan Fraser) first adventure in Egypt. This time, Anck-su-Numam's focus is Rick's 9-year-old son. Rick must, once again, drive the mummies back into the tomb.
