I found this was a fantastic movie. It was a real thriller. I was on my seat the whole time because it was very exiting and I was glad it was a long movie because it was an amazing film.

Of all the hype this movie had, I was expecting to go in & be mildly disappointed. I was instead floored at how it seemed to exceed such lofty expectations. It really is Heaths film & its amazing to think he outperforms a cast that also did an exceptional job in their individual parts.

I fell asleep in this movie! Too long, too noisy, too over the top. No evolvement of the Batman character, as was the case for Batman Begins, which I thoroughly enjoyed. No depth. Disappointed.

My goodness, a three ring circus of a film, but I absolutely DARE anyone here to tell me what the theme, what the point of this movie was. Great effects in service of something loathsome at the core, something that really amounts to a rationalization of the abandonment of ethical considerations in the service of "the war on terror." While appreciating the craft of the film, I hate the movie in all other respects.

Thrilling and creepy. Heath Ledgers last performance is one to be remembered. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Go see this movie.

I would actually rate it 9.5. The only thing is it is too violent for little kids my sister came with me a started crying. It is a very good movie.

Stands up to the first Batman of this series, but is certainly darker than the first. An excellent second act to this trilogy. Just don't go see it if you are already feeling depressed as it won't help any.

Nicely done! Rare to see a movie that lives up to the hype these days! Heath Ledger should get the Oscar this year, and not just out of sorrow and pity, but because he was one of the best actors of our time and he simply deserves it. A role like the joker could have been so easy to over-do but he did it perfectly. Imagine what else he could have done. Awesome movie!

Over-rated. Drags in the middle. Heath Ledger is fantastic as the joker. Little wonder he went crazy. Movie itself maybe 6/10, but Heath Ledger cranks it up a notch.

It was extremely well-done! The directing was masterfull, and the acting all around was fantastic! Heath Ledger was over-praised for his character, but in my books it was better than Jack Nicholson. I was a huge fan of Batman before this movie, but it certainly increased my liking of the superhero!

Christian Bale, amazing. Aaron Eckhart, fantastic. Heath Ledger, BLOWS YOUR MIND! Not only does this movie have three strong actors, and not only does it satisfy your craving for a great action flick, but it contains so much depth in the dialog that will knock your socks off. I've seen it twice, and I still feel like there was so much that I missed in the dialog that the Joker was involved in. GO SEE IT NOW! Even if you have already seen it twice GO SEE IT AGAIN!!!

All the hype about this movie was true. Amazing acting, plot, everything. I'd like to focus on Heath Ledger's acting. I hate it when people say he did better than Jack Nicholson. I think they both did an amazing job, but in different ways. Nicholson's version of the Joker was the character we all knew from the comics, where as Ledger's was the sadistic, twisted man who didn't use guns with," BANG!" but knives to carve a smile into your mouth, causing you to bleed to death. His role fit this particular Batman movie perfectly, which made him an amazing actor. We should all know their is a dark side to all of us, and that's what Ledger did with Nicholson's Joker. So, in my opinion, both of them did an oscar worthy performance. If Heath doesn't win the Oscar, I would REALLY like to see the performance that did ;)

I didn't give this a 10, only because it felt a little too long. It dragged on for me. The Scarcrow really didn't need to be in the movie, he added nothing except time. Great cinematography and excellent special effects. Definitely worth seeing.

Really good movie... excellent acting... to be honest I thought many people were hyping the movie up but when I saw it it was marvelous... I"ve seen it 3 times, once in imax... I would recommend seeing The Dark Knight in Imax... it makes the experience just that much better. This is certainly a movie that you will never forget.

Hey all. I have seen this movie 9 times. I'm Crazy? Maybe. But honestly, if I could, I would go every night till it's out of theaters. That's how good it is. So go see it. But hey, keep in mind it's a superhero movie, not to mention it's Batman, so please, don't go in thinking you're going to be viewing fluffy, happy junk. There is violence, but it's nothing too graphic. Just a bunch of fist fights, mostly. There's a lot of good, comic relief in there though. Perfectly balanced action and story, in my opinion. This movie is a must see on the big screen. Go. NOW.

This is probably the most complete movie I've ever seen. The Dark Knight has a thick plot and in depth character development that will have you at the edge of your seat from beginning to end.
