I liked this original comedy very much. Clooney, Pitt and Malkovitch all excellent. A must see movie if you want to laugh!

Funny! Unexpected. Fun. And good looking men. Who could ask for more?

Okay, this was terrible. Please save yourselves. [...] The movie ends long before the credits. Nothing can be too harsh. Honestly, watch paint dry.

Lol, some folks are criticizing this movie for being a spoof... If you like the American film noir, you will thoroughly enjoy this movie. This is not for fans of manichean movies.

Made me laugh out loud at times. Pitt overacted though.

It was funny in some parts but the rest of the movie stunked. Bad story line.

This is a fabulous movie. Cohen Bros are unstoppable. Go mid-life crisis!

I found this movie funny and very refreshing because of its non-intelligent portrayal of the intelligence field. Well done.

Assuming you go in understanding it's a Cohen movie, there shouldn't be any surprises. It's very well done within that genre, and the non-traditional performances from the likes of Brad Pitt are a hoot! Recommended.

Hilarious at times. Especially Pitt and Clooney. Refreshing to see a comedic style unique from the Adam Sandler, Mike Myers, and Superbad genres.

Funniest comedy I've seen all year! Great twists. Excellent acting!

My iq dropped while watching this movie, but then I laughed a little, and being dumb for an hour or so wasn't so bad. Funny movie, weird plot. Worth a viewing but maybe not in theatres.

The Coen brothers in top form, at their classiest, wittiest, knowingly absurdest, darkest best. The humour doesn't stride out and hit you on the head, but sneaks up on you, building gradually through a cumulative process of detailed set-up, coming to a head in scenes of eruptive hilarity achieved through laugh-out-loud punchlines delivered with deadpan brilliance.

I just don't understand how people have rated this movie so poorly... the acting is just excellent! An excellent cast! I love how Brad Pitt just makes a fool out of himself being the actor he is... malcovich... excellent like always, so intense it just makes your eyes pop out,... Frances McDormand... she is definitely going to get some sort of award for her acting. The movie it self is just so wrong in all aspects (obviously intended to be that way, just like life is, just like humans are but never reveal) that the result turns out to be almost perfect. It's a shame how people insist on watching the typical same old romantic comedy thing over and over again.

There is no story line and George Clooney and Brad Pitt can do alot better acting.

I really liked this movie! Smart humour. Most probably won't enjoy it but it's off-beat and intelligent. I'd watch this one again for sure.

The movie was funny and the plot was very interesting. I had a good time. I think everybody did a great job. Although it might not be as good as No Country for Old Men, but still it was a solid effort by the brothers.

I finally loved it, in the ways of The Mexican, comedy and stupidity is hard to do, but this movie, the actors are pretty good (Even if it is not their usual roles)

We went to this movie with low expectations. It turned out to be hilarious, probably the best comedy we've seen in a really long time!! It's not one of those typical american teenage/college comedies, it's soo much better :)

Great comedy, I can't understand why some people shoot down this movie. It's ironically funny, NOT TO BE TAKEN AS A DRAMA... Recommended!
