Whoever are leaving a 10 for this film are out of their minds. Ok, I understand you love Ben Stiller, you love Jack Black. Who doesn't? But it don't make this movie a 10 nor a 9 or anything close to 8 o 7! 75% of this film is awefully bad. So I give it a 5. This is a rental. Let someone else rent it for you, don't waste for 4$ bucks on this.

I'm not into the PC sham, boycotting films, etc. but this movie is AWFUL. It's not that I was offended, it just was NOT funny! Actors and directors are phony? Most would agree, but by itself the concept is not funny. This movie is DUMB!

Flat out hilarious this is the movie that deserves to win the Oscar for best comedy of the year. It had everybody in the theater (including myself) in tears of laughter from start to end. Stiller is brilliant.

So Tom Cruise does make this movie, he is down-right hilarious in this role, still a good movie with our without Tom, but he adds that extra something... the movie I found to be a bit boring at times, but still good.

This has to be one of the best comedy movies ever. Over the top and very entertaining on so many levels. Great performances all around with nonstop action. A ton of work was put into this movie and it really shows. Recommended.

I actually loved this movie! I love how Jack Blacks character is a druggy. Its hilarious. And at the beginning when it shows the movies they have been in, it felt real. It was funny. And the tivo. :P Just a GREAT movie!

This movie is wildly funny in many ways, and I highly recommend it. The dialogue is funny, the acting is good, the direction is tight, and more importantly, the director respects the intelligence of the viewer. It is also semi-parodical of movie stars, producers, agents, etc. and their tantrums! Robert Downey Jr. as an Australian method actor who undergoes a pigment-implantation surgery to enter the skin of the character he is playing, is hilarious! So is Ben Stiller and Jack Black and Tom Cruise, in his cameo role! Must see, laugh-a-riot!

Although it had its dumb moments, overall I enjoyed myself at this movie. The humor was entertaining for the most part and Tom Cruise was probably the best actor in it.

Okay but not as funny as I thought it would be. Certainly not as funny as Zoolander or Dodgeball. An out of character Tom Cruise was probably the best part. Go see it with low expectations and you won't be disappointed.
