Wittier dialogue, better action sequences, stranger characters, weirder settings and just the right amount of bang for the buck. Will it appeal to most - no. Will it appeal to comic book fans - maybe. Will it appeal to Hellboy fans - YES! Kudos to Mr. del Toro on awakening our imaginations.
