His role fit this particular Batman movie perfectly, which made him an amazing actor. We should all know their is a dark side to all of us, and that's what Ledger did with Nicholson's Joker. So, in my opinion, both of them did an oscar worthy performance. If Heath doesn't win the Oscar, I would REALLY like to see the performance that did ;)
