Cruz and Bardem offer a tantalizing translation-- or fantasy-- of european culture for Johansson and Hall (the american tourists-- also us, perhaps, north american viewers) the question "how should we act? " is at the centre of this film, though it revolves around risk and passion. A thoughtful movie, definitely worth seeing.
