That baby scene was so far off the deep end, I don't even know what to say. Whereas saving private ryan made me feel for the soldiers and their hardships, this movie made we want launch an F15 strike against these soldiers, which would have been "historically accurate" in the eyes of the director no doubt. So in the words of that german officer about halfway through..."Is zhere ein ECHO!". I seen this with my girlfriend... and at the very least, it has provided us with a few laughs in the post discussion of the insanity that was this movie. A positive thing to say... was the country side looked kind of nice. What also would have been nice however, would be a Miracle. I guess old Spike forgot to include that. Avoid this one folks!
